Of course, from a distance, people can appear generic. Yet get a little closer (and if we could get really close, we could observe another's inner world), and our individuality and personhood is startlingly. These birds were carved in this spirit.
The linocut is 7 by 7 inches and splashed with Photoshop colors—something I resort to when black and white just doesn't seem enough! Thanks for stopping by! : )

I have a question to ask you about using this image in a web quest for my sixth graders. I am not sure how to email you directly? The web quest is on printmaking. It will not be accessible to anyone but the sixth graders at my school- for use on blackboard only. They will be using this image and discussing how you can show identity through it- in hopes for them to create there own image showing thier own identity. Sorry if this is too wierd, ha ha... but your art is great!
